It all started with a passion to design and a love for the industry........ Hello, I'm Mary Pat, fashion designer and owner of Smyth and Company. My interest in designing, sewing and the needle arts began many years ago. I was a young girl when I learned to sew on an old Singer sewing machine and I haven't stopped sewing since. After college, I decided to pursue my dream of owning my own fashion company. With a degree in fashion design and production, years of sewing experience, and a passion for designing, I started Smyth and Company.

Smyth and Company designs and produces fine quality, handmade special occasion dresses and accessories for girls. From lovely party dresses to gorgeous formal wear, we have many beautiful dresses for you to choose from. Our dresses are designed for style and comfort. Pretty for pictures and ready for fun, she'll look and feel like a princess in her dress. I design all Smyth and Company dresses. Dresses are made-to-order here in Connecticut.
